BushCare volunteers meet every Thursday morning at 8am in the Sanctuary. Jobs are allocated as required. Our volunteers work for approximately 2 hours followed by a cuppa and chat at around 10am.

The weather was perfect for the 2025 Remembrance Day Commemoration at the Foote Sanctuary. Organised by the BWMCA the occasion was enhanced by students from Buderim Mountain State School who provided the musical accompaniment.

Improvements to the picnic area in preparation for this year's Remembrance Day ceremony continue, with Foote Volunteers yesterday laying fifty square metres of turf from Glenview Turf Farm.

Foote Sanctuary sits within one of the most botanically rich pockets of the Sunshine Coast. Within a 10 kilometre radius of Buderim Mountain, you’ll find a remarkable mix of towering eucalypts, subtropical rainforest species, creek-line vegetation and delicate understory plants.
